Role & Responsibilities:

1. Managing all aspects of the project business plan and budget
Leading the operational, financial and technical aspects of the project based on timelines and work plans

1. Directly responsible for reviewing and give comments on contractors’ submittals for the base (target), revised or recovery schedules.
2. Directly responsible for the development of the design schedule, pre-bid schedules, shop drawing and submittal schedule, separate contract schedules and occupancy schedules.
3. Review Contractors’ periodic schedule updates, weekly report and monthly report.
4. Highlight delays in critical activities in the design and construction schedules.
5. Provide recommendations when actual progress deviates from scheduled progress so that work may be re-scheduled or accelerated to provide for on-time completion.
6. Directly responsible for the preparation of the monthly schedule portion of the Project / program reports, including narrative and all scheduling update reports. Additionally, responsible to compiling information provided by others into the reports
7. Prepares monthly dashboard reports for major projects and capital program

Related Work Experience/Skills:

– Minimum of 7 years’ experience with proven track record in project planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to Project Manager.
2. Understand and interpret contractual documents such as construction drawings, method of measurements, specifications and BOQ.
3. Evaluate consultant/ contractor payment applications against value of work done and prepare recommendations to the PM/ Client for subsequent payment.
4. Liaise on daily basis with the project engineering department to ensure all measurements are produced from most recent drawing revisions and maintain marked up drawings of project monthly progress measurements in a register.
5. Provide data required by senior staff for preparation of project cost/value reports and forecasts and prepare and maintain detailed under measure / over measure records for use in monthly internal reports or end forecasts.
Research and provide necessary data to support finalization of claim submissions, as may be requested by senior staff.
6. Contract package administration on site including implementation of cost control measures, re-measurement of certain BOQ items, agreeing variations, resolution of contractual claims and finalization of accounts.
7. Preparation of bills of quantities and other tender documents.

Related Work Experience/Skills:

– Over 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying for Senior QS and 6 years for QS position.
– 5+ years on major hotel (specially in Makkah), high rise, building and residential projects
– 5+ years Post contract experience.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
